Right Here in Zionsville

The sushi Zionsville
calls its own.

No interstate, no downtown parking garage. Niku Kitchen.Sushi.Bar is at Sylo Xing on the Zionsville and Carmel border, minutes from the brick streets.

A Zionsville Original

Built for this town.

Niku bridges the precision of traditional Japanese cuisine with the playfulness of contemporary American dining. Sushi and sashimi cut to order, robata style grilling, an omakase tasting served at your table, and A5 Miyazaki wagyu with a certificate of origin.

The room seats about 120 across a main dining floor, a craft cocktail bar, and a seasonal patio. Warm light, smart casual, and free parking at the door.

Deciding Tonight?

Picking between restaurants in Zionsville?

The short version of us: a Japanese kitchen with range far beyond sushi. Robata style plates bring fish and meats seared hard on the iron, the kitchen sends out donburi bowls and hot plates, and A5 Miyazaki wagyu is there for the big occasion. Sushi and sashimi are cut to order through the evening and brought to your table, or to your seat at the cocktail bar.

Craft cocktail bar with walk-in seating, a seasonal patio in the warm months, smart casual dress, and free parking at the door. Reservations are recommended for the dining room and take under a minute online.

Quick answers

Do we need a reservation?
Recommended for the dining room, especially Friday and Saturday. Walk-ins are always welcome at the bar.

Not everyone in our group eats sushi.
That is what the robata grill and the hot kitchen are for. Grilled fish and meats, rice bowls, and hot plates mean nobody at the table settles.

Where do we park?
Free lot at the door at Sylo Xing. No garage, no meters.

What does dinner run?
Anything from a casual sushi dinner to the $70 omakase tasting. You set the scale of the evening.
