About

An east meets west
experience.

A new chapter in modern Japanese dining for central Indiana.

The Concept

Where tradition meets the unexpected.

Niku Kitchen.Sushi.Bar bridges the precision of traditional Japanese cuisine with the playfulness of contemporary American dining. Every plate is built around respect: for the fish, the technique, and the guests who join us.

Our menu moves from delicate nigiri to bold signature rolls, from the robata menu to a craft cocktail bar that takes Japanese spirits seriously. East meets west, served with intention.

The dining room seats about 120 guests across a main floor, a craft cocktail bar, and a seasonal patio. Niku opened on May 29, 2026 at Sylo Xing on the Zionsville and Carmel border.

The Space

A 6,000 sq ft
destination.

Walls of textured stone, warm Edison lighting, and bubble-glass partitions set the tone. The dining room flows into a craft cocktail bar; the outdoor patio takes over when the weather agrees.
